Od muzičkog toka do muzičke forme

Co-published in cooperation with the Faculty of Music, of Ivan Brkljačić's textbook entitled "From musical flow to musical form", Belgrade 2022. The public promotion took place as part of the 65th Belgrade International Book Fair, October 25, 2022.

Komad, kolac, kolaz

Among other things, this piece contains elements of theatre, manifested through its visual activation of all 20 fingers that take part in the performing process, as well as by engaging the two performers of the piano duo in a sort of struggle for physical space.

IT!

The creative impulse that prompted Brkljačić to begin the invention process could not be stopped until the moment came for exclaiming: That’s it!

Zvrk

The flow of this composition and its form came out of a personal belief that despite its size, the smallest orchestral instrument (such as is the piccolo) is indeed quite powerful, adept, agile, dynamic... Like a “zvrk”!

LOVE! - Saxophone Concerto

Commissioned piece by Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra for the 2018-19.
