RUMPELSTINKIN PRESENTS NEW ALBUM and TOUR “DEL LADO DE LOS MALDITOS”
RUMPELSTINKIN is the new and most ambitious project of the musician and composer Armando Soria (Ar Stinkin).
For over two decades he led “Armando and El Expreso de Bohemia“, with which he released seven albums and performed dozens of collaborations with other artists. He left his position as frontman and took a quieter place as a bass player in punk bands “Goar Cicatriz” and “Malditos Bastardos”, which meant a radical change in their way of making music.
His two companions in this new venture are Walter Enríquez (“Se Atormenta Una Vecina”, “Dracon”, “Late So Late”), who is responsible for guitars and demolishing riffs, and Ángel “el Demonio” (“Activos Tóxicos”, “La Fura Dels Baus”, “Toxicomorao”).
His first work, BENDITA SEA TU IRA (Clipper´s Rock 2014), only was a warning. Now, with the trio RUMPELSTINKIN, he presents new work, DEL LADO DE LOS MALDITOS, which contains 10 new songs, produced by AURIZIO TONELLI and recorded at studios in Barcelona.
You’ll hear titles like: DURO Y A LA CABEZA, EL VALLE DE LA VERGÜENZA, BLANCO FÁCIL, EL LADO DE LOS MALDITOS, EL JUEGO DE LA MORDAZA, and the final surprise of the album, PUTO AMO. This time, AR STINKIN, WALTER ENRIQUEZ and ÁNGEL DEL DEMONIO appear clad in ” blessed sacks ” or ” sanbenitos “, because they are sure that this disc will fall into hands of the renewed, modern “tribunal of the holy Inquisition”, meaning the state.
Attached is the letter which condemns them without any doubt for their horrible sin. But something that can be guaranteed is that they will be condemned to eternal fire… of Rock and Roll.
