In the ‘80s Hollywood Film Studios realized how much money they can save by recording film music in Europe. At the time Hungary became the primary destination for film scoring sessions. Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams, Michel Legrand, later Alan Menken, Ennio Morricone, Rachel Portman and others flew to Hungary to record music for movies such as Indiana Jones and the Last Crusades, Rambo, Chocolat, A Christmas Carol, Lionheart, Extreme Prejudice, Rent a Cop.
